Assessment

Learners complete module knowledge checks, guided evidence exercises, one bounded Maya Cyber Academy Lab investigation and an independent capstone.The capstone requires an incident timeline, evidence table, severity decision, containment recommendation, executive summary and AI-use verification ledger.

Passing requirement

Complete all required modules and activities, submit the capstone investigation and achieve at least 80% on the final assessment.

Work product

Incident investigation and AI-use verification ledgerA completed incident-investigation portfolio containing evidence findings, a validated timeline, severity rationale, response recommendations, an executive summary and an AI-use verification ledger.

A laptop or desktop computer with a current web browser is required for practical investigations.Phones and tablets may be used for readings and narrated lessons.

Connectivity

Internet access is required.Captions, transcripts and downloadable low-bandwidth readings are included. Lab activities require an active connection.
